Clear expectations create a harmonious learning environment. Please review our policies to ensure a smooth and rewarding experience at Society Virtuoso.
We understand that life happens. To ensure fairness for all students and instructors, please adhere to the following cancellation guidelines.
All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations made with proper notice will not be charged.
Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full lesson rate. This policy respects the instructor’s reserved time.
Students who do not show up for a scheduled lesson without any prior notice will be charged the full lesson fee. Two consecutive no-shows may result in schedule reassignment.
In the rare event that an instructor must cancel, a makeup lesson will be scheduled at no additional cost within 14 days of the original date.
Lessons cancelled due to severe weather or natural emergencies will be rescheduled at no charge. Virtual lesson options may be offered as an alternative.
We offer flexible makeup lesson options to help you stay on track with your musical development.
Makeup lessons are available only for lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for makeup sessions.
All makeup lessons must be scheduled and completed within 30 days of the original missed lesson. After 30 days, the makeup lesson will be forfeited.
Makeup lessons require a minimum of 48 hours’ advance notice to schedule. Please contact the front desk or use our online booking system.
Makeup lessons are accommodated based on instructor availability. We cannot guarantee the same instructor or time slot as your regular lesson.
Each student is entitled to a maximum of 3 makeup lessons per semester. Additional missed lessons beyond this limit will be forfeited.
Makeup sessions for group classes may be fulfilled by attending another group session of the same level, subject to space availability.
Recitals are a cornerstone of the Society Virtuoso experience. They build confidence, celebrate progress, and foster a supportive musical community.
All students are strongly encouraged to participate in at least one recital per year. Recital participation is included in your tuition at no extra cost.
Recital pieces must be approved by your instructor at least 6 weeks before the performance date. Pieces should be well-prepared and performance-ready.
Concert black attire is required for all performers. Gentlemen: black dress shirt, black slacks, and dress shoes. Ladies: black dress or black blouse with black skirt/slacks and dress shoes.
A mandatory dress rehearsal is held the week before each recital. Students must attend the full rehearsal to participate in the performance.
Performers must arrive at least 45 minutes before the recital start time for warm-up and sound check. Late arrivals may forfeit their performance slot.
We ask all audience members to silence phones, refrain from flash photography, and hold applause until the end of each piece. Recording is permitted without flash.
Transparent and straightforward payment policies to keep your focus on the music.
Tuition is billed on the 1st of each month and is due by the 5th. Monthly tuition covers four weekly lessons regardless of the number of weeks in the month.
We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, Zelle, and checks. Auto-pay enrollment is available and recommended for convenience.
A $25 late fee will be applied to accounts not settled by the 10th of the month. Accounts more than 30 days past due may result in lesson suspension.
Discounted semester packages (16 lessons) are available with upfront payment. Semester packages are non-refundable but transferable to another student.
Monthly tuition is non-refundable once the billing cycle begins. Semester package holders may receive a prorated credit for documented medical emergencies.
A one-time $50 registration fee is required for all new students. This covers administrative costs, materials, and access to our online resource library.
A few additional guidelines to help everyone enjoy a productive and respectful studio environment.
