Essential tips for students, parents, and audience members to ensure a successful performance experience
- Practice your piece thoroughly and memorize if required
- Attend all scheduled rehearsals at the venue
- Prepare your music folder with backup copies
- Break in new performance shoes at home
- Get plenty of rest the night before
- Eat a light, healthy meal 2-3 hours before performance
